Welcome to the Baylor ISR Center for Christian Philosophy

Dr. Trent Dougherty appointed Fellow of the Oxford Center for Animal Ethics

AUGUST 26, 2016

The department would like to congratulate Dr. Trent Dougherty on being appointed a Fellow of the Oxford Center for Animal Ethics. The appointment is largely based on the success of his book, “The Problem of Animal Pain: A Theodicy for All Creatures Great and Small.”

Dr. Dougherty is one of ten new fellows appointed to the center. “All these individuals are pioneering new work in Animal Ethics – helping to press the envelope in terms of new thinking”, said Director of the Centre, Professor Andrew Linzey.
