The department would like to congratulate Dr. Trent Dougherty on being appointed a Fellow of the Oxford Center for Animal Ethics. The appointment is largely based on the success of his book, “The Problem of Animal Pain: A Theodicy for All Creatures Great and Small.”
Dr. Dougherty is one of ten new fellows appointed to the center. “All these individuals are pioneering new work in Animal Ethics – helping to press the envelope in terms of new thinking”, said Director of the Centre, Professor Andrew Linzey.
